Simon Dallaserra

Simon Dallaserra is an austrian filmmaker and musician living in Berlin.

He studied Comparative Literature and Philosophy in Vienna and Berlin as well as at the School for Independent Film Friedl Kubelka, which he co-directed in 23/24.

In his work he often revolves around themes of absence and it’s traces, the unknown and the longing and haunting of the invisible. In often long observations shot on analog film, he aims to question borders of our perception, while making blind spots of attention visible.
